奥特斯中国业务与重庆共成长|AT&S China Business Grows along with Chongqing

上海/重庆，2015年3月18日—由奥特斯集团监事会主席汉内斯.安德罗施博士（Hannes Androsch），奥特斯集团监事会副主席魏德福先生（Wilfried Dörflinger）以及奥特斯集团首席执行官葛思迈(Andreas Gerstenmayer)先生为首的奥特斯代表团于3月18日访问重庆，重庆市市长黄奇帆先生热情接见了代表团全体成员。

重庆是奥特斯在建的高端半导体封装载板工厂的所在地。访问期间，代表团探讨了奥特斯与重庆日益紧密的合作关系。为了实现“成为先进技术应用的首选供应商”这一公司愿景，奥特斯于2001年在上海建立了第一家高密度互连（HDI）印刷电路板工厂，其在中国的投资已超10亿美元。

Gerstenmayer先生表示：“可持续发展是奥特斯在中国的重要任务，公司以技术为驱动，致力于成为市场的包容性增长的合作伙伴。奥特斯在创造经济价值的同时，注重保护自然资源、投资人力资源并关爱社区。”

重庆在奥特斯发展战略中，有着举足轻重的地位。重庆工厂正有条不紊地按计划建设，首条生产线的设备引进安装及内部认证已经完成，设备的技术参数设定、资质认证及样品生产已启动，预计于2016年初正式投产。这标志着奥特斯踏入了半导体封装载板这一全新的业务领域。

AT&S China Business Grows along with Chongqing

Shanghai/Chongqing, March 18, 2015 – AT&S delegation led by Dr. Hannes Androsch, Chairman, Mr. Wilfried Dörflinger Vice Chairmanof the supervisory board of AT&S Group and Mr.Andreas Gerstenmayer, Chief Executive Officer of AT&S Group visited Chongqing Municipal Government on March 18. Mr. Huang Qifan, Mayor of Chongqing city met the delegation and extended a warm welcome to all.

During the visiting, the delegation discussed AT&S’s growing relationship with Chongqing where the company is building one of the first high-end Integrated Circuit (IC) substrate factories in China. In order to realise the vision of being the “first choice for advanced applications”, AT&S has invested over US$ 1 billion in China to date since setting up the first HDI-factory in Shanghai in 2001.

“AT&S is committed to be an inclusive technology driven growth partner in the markets in which we operate. Our commitment to China also covers sustainability that AT&S is creating economic value, protecting natural capital, investing in people, and caring for local communities,” said Mr. Gerstenmayer.

Chongqing plays an important role in the growth strategy of AT&S. The setup of the Chongqing plant is proceeding according to plan. Installation and internal qualification of the first production line has been completed, equipment characterisation and certification and production of samples has started.  Start of production is scheduled for beginning of calendar year 2016. This ensures that AT&S is entering a new IC substrate business sector.
